
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Board Officers
Craig Reynolds, FAIA
is President of the Board of Directors. He is an Architect and
Principal of Brown Reynolds Watford Architects, Inc. Mr. Reynolds
has been active in Dallas civic affairs including serving as Chair of
the 2002 and 2008 Dallas Independent School District Bond
Program. He is a Past President of the Dallas AIA and is on the
Board of Directors of the Katy Trail. In 2005 he was invested in the
prestigious Fellowship of the American Institute of Architects.
Charles Zelazny
is Past President of the Board of Directors. In his business life, Mr.
Zelazny is Owner and President of TaxSaver Plan, a Dallas based
business. A native of Dallas, he and his family have been long-time
users and supporters of Dallas parks. He is also affiliated with
the Bachman Lake Foundation.
Lois Finkelman is
Vice President of the Dallas Parks Foundation. She recently completed
eight years as a member of the Dallas City Council. Prior to her
Council service, she served several years as President of the Dallas
Park and Recreation Board. She is a currently Chair of the
National Recreation and Park Association.
Delia Jasso
is Secretary of the Board of Directors and represents District 1 on the
Dallas City Counci. She is Contract Trainer and Adjunct
Instructor for the Dallas County Community College District.
Robert B. Parks, AICP
is Treasurer of the Board of Directors and is a former Vice President
of the Dallas Park and Recreation Board and Past Chair of the Dallas
Community Development Commission. He is a manager with Dallas Area
Rapid Transit and has been active in a number of civic and neighborhood
projects.
Directors
Paul Lehner
is the former Director of Planning and Development for the Trinity
River Corridor Project. He currently chairs the North Texas Advisory
Council for the Trust For Public Lands. He formerly headed the Trust’s
Dallas/North Texas Office. Prior to that, his experience is extensive
in real estate development, management, and investment.
Veletta Forsythe Lill
completed eight years of service as a member of the Dallas City
Council. Currently she serves as Chair of the Board of Directors
of Parkland Foundation and as an Advisory Director to Dallas National
Bank. She has been active in the preservation community for many years
and serves on the Board of Advisors of the National Trust for Historic
Preservation. Her record of neighborhood and civic leadership is
extensive.
Craig McDaniel is Principal of
McDaniel PR. He is a former member of the Dallas City Council and
continues to be active in Dallas community affairs.
C.W. Whitaker is
a retired executive with SWBell/AT&T and served as President of the
Dallas Park & Recreation Board. He as served among numerous civic,
Arts, and city boards & commissions, and is again serving on the
Dallas Park & Recreation Board.
