The Dallas Parks Foundation supports a variety of projects the City of Dallas Park and Recreation Department identified through the Long Range Plan, “The Renaissance Plan”.  These projects will enhance our park system and serve the needs and wants of our youngest park patrons to our most experienced park patrons.  All donations received by the Dallas Park Foundation support the Dallas Park System directly.  The funds raised will support development of new and exciting recreational amenities for the Dallas Park System.

In the past, the Dallas Parks Foundation has supported projects such as the Fair Park Centennial and White Rock Museum.  Annually we contribute to the Send A Kid to Camp program.  Currently, in addition to our general fundraising which supplements many different projects, the Dallas Parks Foundation is fundraising for the following individual projects:

Neighborhood Skateparks:

Ø      The Dallas Parks Foundation is working towards raising the money to establish 4 neighborhood parks with skating elements such as half-pipes, ollie boxes, stairs, rails and picnic benches for all of our local skaters.

Will Winters Memorial Fund:

Ø      The funds raised will assist in building a competition level baseball field, state of the art concession and maintenance building and a one of a kind pavilion and walkway at Randall Park in memory of Will Winters III and his love for athletics.

Cottonwood Trail Fund:

Ø      Texas Instruments and the Dallas Parks Foundation have teamed up to raise over $4 Million to develop this trail which, once
completed, will connect the Preston Ridge Trail to the White Rock Creek Trail.  This will provide a safe, walking/biking corridor
       from Plano to Downtown Dallas.

Keist Park Fund:

Ø      Keist Park offers competition level baseball and softball for kids throughout the City of Dallas recreation programs.  This park has specific needs and money raised in this fund will assist in maintenance and additional requests from the patrons of this park.
